Polo Meccatronica, to support entrepreneurial initiatives, provides the following services: personalized guidance and tutoring, classroom training for the entrepreneurial skills development, individual assistance and consultancy to allow the business idea development (legal, administrative, fiscal, management, marketing, communication, industrial property, new materials, ext.), promotional support, rapid prototyping, regulatory updating, reporting of available financial benefits, networking with companies participating in the project and with local trade organizations, digitalization, ownership Industrial, internationalization, technological and operational solutions to increase the companies competitiveness, technical and regulatory updating.
The aforementioned activities are provided at the Polo Meccatronica Valley Hub, located in Termini Imerese (PA), C.da Tonnarella Z.I.. The structure covers an area of over 4,000 m2, in particular it includes an uncovered surface of over 1,000 m2 and a covered surface of over 3,000 m2 divided into three bodies: complex A intended for common spaces, training rooms, high-tech laboratories, offices and services; complexes B and C made up of modules intended to serve businesses.
Polo Meccatronica Valley, as a network of companies, was born as a spinoff of the Sicilian Mechatronics Production District recognized, lastly, with Councilor's Decree no. 279/GAB of 10/03/2020.
The interconnection with the Mechatronics Sicily Production District guarantees a high degree of interconnection with the Sicilian entrepreneurial fabric, promoting the involvement of all over 150 companies that are part of it.
